About the Job

We are looking for a bright intern to join our team as part of the R&D team. Our team develops new and exciting products in the ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat market using our unique production technology. During your time with us, you will take part in product development, technology scale-up, and process optimization. Our company is located in The Kitchen FoodTech Hub so you will be part of the vibrant Israeli food-tech ecosystem. All this while working with a young, fast-paced (and very friendly) team.

This is a paid internship. The intern will receive an educational grant of $900 per week.

While interns are expected to take care of their own travel, accommodation, and insurance, insideIL will provide them with resources and support to help them with these aspects of their experience.

Skills
  • B.Sc or M.Sc student in food science or technology.
  • Industrial engineering student with an interest in scale-up and process optimization
  • Ability and interest in working in a laboratory, pilot plant, and manufacturing scale environments.
  • Familiarity with new food product development process.
  • Data science knowledge preferred.
  • Passion for food.
  • Desire the change the way we consume food.
Responsibilities

As an intern, reporting to the VP of R&D, you will have the opportunity to create new products in our portfolio, improve existing products to better suit the consumer needs, scale-up and optimize the production process, influence decision-making, source new material and technology and contribute to the company success any way you can.

About the company
We aim to increase the usage of ugly produce in the food industry. We utilize our unique fusion of innovative technology, expertise in design, and knowledge in culinary arts to create magical foods.
