About the Job

This job consists of the design and execution of genome editing experiments. These will include, primers and gRNA design, plasmid construction and plant transformation. Screening plants after transformation for genome editing events.

This is a paid internship. The intern will receive an educational grant of $900 per week.

While interns are expected to take care of their own travel, accommodation, and insurance, insideIL will provide them with resources and support to help them with these aspects of their experience.

Skills
  1. A relevant MSc in molecular biology
  2. Familiar with basic molecular biology research methods- DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, molecular cloning
  3. Experience in CRISPR/Cas9 technology application- advantage
Responsibilities
  1. Executing experiments, protocols and screening supporting our company's breeding programs

Based in Giv’at Hen, Israel (20 km from Tel Aviv), our team is working on finally enabling the standardization of Cannabis and Hemp production by maintaining consistency, uniformity and profitability of growing the raw material.
